Level-C PPE with Powered Air Purifying Protection
Built for Real-World CBRN Evacuation & Shelter Operations
When official orders are issued and conditions change rapidly, protection must be immediate and trusted.
The Level-C PPE configuration shown above represents a full-barrier, particle-protection solution designed to limit exposure during an official evacuation. Or during a shelter-in-place operation involving a CBRN hot zone or a projected plume pathway extending up to 100 miles.
This system is engineered for comfort, clarity, and confidence -
Comfortable, Particle-Rated Level-C PPE
The protective ensemble features lightweight, breathable Level-C coveralls designed for extended wear.
The loose-fitting design allows freedom of movement while maintaining adequate particulate protection during evacuation, screening, or controlled movement operations.
Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR)
At the core of the system is a powered air-purifying respirator with a High-Efficiency, P-100 particle filter cartridge.
A belt-mounted or backpack blower continuously delivers filtered air to the helmet, reducing breathing resistance and heat stress compared to negative-pressure respirators. No fit-testing required.
Fallout Helmet PAPR – APF 1000
The integrated fallout helmet provides the highest Assigned Protection Factor available for PAPRs (APF-1000).
The full-coverage hood shields the head, face, and neck while maintaining excellent visibility and communication—critical in clinical, corporate, and civic response environments.
No fit testing is required, making it ideal for rapid deployment to mixed teams.
CBRN Evacuation Boots, Covers, and Gloves
The system is complete with CBRN-appropriate boots or over-boots and durable gloves,
helping to reduce particulate transfer from ground surfaces, vehicles, and contaminated entry points.
This supports safer movement, doffing, and secondary screening operations.
Radiation Detection Devices – Optional & Recommended
Radiation detection instruments are not required for PPE function, but they are strongly recommended as part of a complete response strategy. These Radiation Alerts and Survey Meters Detection devices help teams identify contamination, establish clean and contaminated zones, and report ambient radiation levels. And support documented decision-making in accordance with official guidance.
Aligned With FEMA-Approved Equipment Guidance
All components align with FEMA Approved Equipment List (AEL) categories and are intended for use during officially directed evacuation, shelter, and screening operations—not ad hoc or improvised responses.
